  • Dr. Kuldeep Kaur and Dr. Neetu Prakash of Dept. of Business Management and Commerce attended a workshop entitled "Constitutionalism, Law, and Human Rights" which was held at Panjab University, Chandigarh from August 08-14, 2019.
  • Mrs. Maninder Kaur, Mrs. Manmeet Kaur and Ms. Ritu Priya of Dept. of Business Management and Commerce attended a workshop entitled "Empowering Educators" organized by Institute of Company Secretaries of India held at Hotel Friends Regency, Ludhiana from September 14, 2019.


2018-19

  • Ms. Daisy Wadhwa (Dept. of Computer Science and Applications) presented a research paper entitled "The Growing Role and Implications of Using Artificial Intelligence in Education" in two day International Conference on "Science and Technology: Trends and Challenges" held at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana on April 16-17, 2018. The paper was also published in a book titled "Trends and Challenges in Computer Sciences" (ISBN- 978-93-85835-54-4).

  • Mrs Balbir Kaur, Mrs Jaswinder Kaur (Department of Hindi), and Mrs Gagneet Pal Kaur (Department of English) attended Faculty Development Programme on "Mastering Word Processing and Presentation Designing Skills" from July 02-07, 2018 organized by Department of Computer Science and Applications of our college. The resource persons were Ms. Daisy Wadhwa and Mrs. Satwant Kaur.

  • Research Paper of Mrs. Maninder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) was published in Commonwealth Journal of Commerce and Management Research, Vol. 5, Issue 5, May 2018.

  • Research papers of Mrs. Punpreet Kaur and Mrs. Rajwinder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) entitled "Ethical Issues in Teaching" and "Evolution Process and Reforms in Higher Education" respectively was published in a Book "Effective Implementation of Choice-based Credit System: Benefits and Challenges" (ISBN 978-93-86713-87-2) in 2018.

  • Mrs. Maninder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) and Mrs. Seema Dua (Dept. of Economics) attended a workshop entitled "Econometerics – Time Series and Panel Data Analysis" which was held at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara from June 06-12, 2018.

  • Research paper of Mrs. Punpreet Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) entitled "Commercialization of Higher Education in India: Boon or Bane" was published in a Book "Teaching, Learning and Evolution: Through Innovative Practices" (ISBN 978-93-85835-865) in 2018.

  • Mrs. Manmeet Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) attended a workshop entitled "SPSS for Data Analysis and Data Interpretation" which was held at Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Indore, M.P. from October 08-13, 2018.

  • Paper of Mrs. Rajwinder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) entitled "E-commerce in India – Challenges and Opportunities" was published in a book "E-Commerce and its Applications on Indian Economy" (ISBN 978-93-5113-979-9) in 2018.

  • Mrs Manmeet Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) presented research paper entitled "International Marketing Strategies and their Impact" at 2nd International Multistream Conference held at GGN Institute of Management and Technology, Ludhiana on October 28, 2018. The same paper was published in Book entitled "New Business Avenues – Critical Analysis", ISBN 978-93-83835-61-2.

  • Paper of Mrs. Rajwinder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) entitled "Corporate Social Responsibility in Current Scenario" was published in a book "Value Ethics and Benefits of CSR"” (ISBN 978-93-86713-50-6) in 2018.

  • Paper of Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur (Dept. of Hindi) entitled "Parwasi Kavi Darshan Gill ki kavita ke Vividh Ayaam" was published in a book entitled "Parvadi: Punjabi Sahitya Ek Nazar" in 2018.

  • Ms. Daisy Wadhwa (Dept. of Computer Science and Applications) presented a research paper entitled "Using Learning Analytics on MOOCS to Improve Employability Prospects" in two day International Conference on "Futuristic Approach towards Employability and Entrepreneurship and Industrial Summit" held at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Ludhiana on October 27-28, 2018. The paper was published in a book titled "Entrepreneurship and Employability- Technical Perspectives" (ISBN-978-93-85835-62-9).

  • Mrs. Rajwinder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) delivered an Extension Lecture on the topic "GST" at Mata Ganga Khalsa College for Girls, Kottan on January 29, 2019.

  • Mrs. Maninder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) presented a paper "Rising Trends in Drug Abuse in India: Steps taken by Department of Social Justice and Empowerment" in International Seminar held at Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana on February 06, 2019.

  • Mrs. Maninder Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) and Ms. Sukhjit (Dept. of Political Science) attended a two day National Workshop on RTI: Awareness, Issues and Challenges at Panjab University, Chandigarh on February 14-15, 2019.

  • Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur (Dept. of Hindi) presented a paper “Gurdeesh Kaur Grewal ki Kavya Samvedna” in International Seminar held at GGN Khalsa College, Ludhiana on February 21, 2019.

  • Research paper of Mrs. Manmeet Kaur and Ms. Jasleen Kaur (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) entitled "Global Marketing: Challenges and Issues" was published in journal "Gurukul", Issue IV, Vol VII (II) in February 2019.

  • Dr. Nidhi of Dept. of Business Management and Commerce attended an online Refresher Course in Management under ARPIT on Swayam platform launched by Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt. of India.
