An MHRD, under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT), has assigned work to the UGC for development of e-content in 77 subjects at postgraduate level. The content and its quality is the key component of education system.
High quality, curriculum-based,interactive content in different subjects across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts & humanities, natural & mathematical sciences, linguistics and languages is being developed under this initiative named e-PG Pathshala.
All the students, whether UG or PG, are likely to benefit from this project. An effort must be made by the students to go through the various modules developed for different subjects. These modules are following a number of modes of teaching. In some cases, e-text is available, and in other cases, self-learning mode is available. There are also options of self-assessment where students can practice through sample question papers. The use of text and audio-visual aids is very effective and makes learning more interesting.
