Youth Club, Eco Club and Red Ribbon Club

Youth club and Red Ribbon Club have been working efficiently under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi (Dept. of Business Management and Commerce) and Ms. Daisy Wadhwa (Dept. of Computer Applications) whereas Eco Club is smoothly functioning under the supervision of Mrs. Parveen Arora (Dept. of Public Administration). The activities of these clubs during the academic session 2017-18 were as follows:

  • An Offline Quiz competition on Quit India Movement was organized to mark 75th year of "Quit India Movement" and "70th year of India's Independence" by Youth Club on August 14, 2017.

  • Youth club volunteers participated in Cleanliness Drive on September 02, 2017 as a part of SwachhtaPakhwara under the action plan of HRD Ministry.

  • A tree plantation drive was organized by Youth Club as a part of Swachhta Pakhwara-2017 on September 05, 2017.

  • Ticket Pasting and Awareness Campaign on the theme of "Communal Harmony" was organized by Youth Club on November 17, 2017.

  • The officials from Municipal Corporation Ludhiana discussed the benefits of Swachhata Mobile App on November 24, 2017. Mr. JatinderVij, Sanitary Inspector, and Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Coordinator, encouraged the students to use this App to make Ludhiana clean and green

  • Slogan writing and poster making competitions were organized by Red Ribbon Club to mark World Aids Day on December 01, 2017.

  • Red Ribbon Club observed National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand on January 19, 2017.

  • The members of Red Ribbon club participated in different events as a part of National Youth Day celebrations at Government Polytechnic College, Ludhiana on January 24, 2018.

  • Red Ribbon Club organized HIV AIDS Awareness Drive on February 08, 2018.
