Eco Club of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, Ludhiana celebrated World Nature Conservation Day in the campus today. On this occasion Tree Plantation Drive was organized and Saplings were planted at various places in the college premises.
To create general awareness amongst the students, an Online Slogan Writing Competition was also organised.
Principal, Mrs. Maninder Kaur, highlighted the threats of global warming and the importance of planting more trees to keep the environment green, clean, safe and healthy.
