Department of Commerce was established on July 24, 1989 to offer an oasis of learning and opportunities galore for the students of 21st Century. The Post Graduation in Commerce (M. Com) was started in the year 2003. In the year 2007, B.Com (Hons) in Business Finance and Accounting was started to provide quality education in the field of business finance and in the same year BBA was also introduced to impart management education to budding managers. Each member of the department bears responsibility to articulate, reinforce and reflect those values that support our highest aspiration. We have track record of university positions for all the classes. Our students are placed in Universities, Colleges as well as reputed schools and have joined judiciary services, banks, army, corporate sector etc. Many students have become entrepreneurs by establishing coaching centres and have joined their family Business. Now within the span of 32 years, Department of Commerce has become a knowledge creating hub for future oriented managers, professional , teachers and capable for functioning in ever changing turbulent environment.
